I enjoy hearing from my readers, whether they have comments, questions, or just want to drop a line and say they’ve enjoyed my site.

If I enjoy hearing from other people you might wonder why more commenting opportunities aren’t enabled on this website. The short answer is that I’ve had a bad experience with commenting. Past trouble with comment spam has made me aware of the dangers and hassles involved in maintaining an open venue for commenting. For years I’ve kept my comments closed, but recently I have been toying with the idea of opening some of my material to comments again. I’m still wavering. At the time of this writing, some posts are open for commenting, but they may be closed down at any time if I start to get bothered by spam.
