Summer is waning late. It was sunny today, but it never became hot. On these cooler days there is already the feel of autumn in the air. The leaves have not begun to turn, but soon the first hints will begin to show.

It felt like fall today to me, too. And it has been getting pretty cool at night, and I have seen colored leaves on the ground in the woods already–not many, but a few.
Hard for me to resign myself to summer ending too, but I sure did enjoy the sunshine this summer.
